WHAT IS A SET?

While we are happy to deal with set submissions on an individual basis it’s important to note that submissions that align with our in house creations are the ones most likely to get purchased. So with that said, this is how we create our sets:

  • Main image set (200-300 images)
  • BTS image set (shot at same time as the main images by a supporting artist)
  • Main Video Set (10 to 15 minute straight to camera video shot by the Lead Videographer)
  • BTS Video Set (shot at same time as the Main Video by a supporting artist)

We may deviate from this slightly but this is how you will ensure your content fits our release schedules.

The progression within the set is integral – it begins with the model fully clothed and progresses towards a maximum level of implied nude. Consistency is vital: maintain the same outfit, location, and lighting theme throughout. The initial images should portray the model clothed, transitioning towards topless or implied nude shots. Variations in poses, cropping, angles, and orientations at each stage are essential. Our preference is to include two-thirds of the content as topless or implied nude shots.

It’s crucial that the photosets you submit seamlessly align with the distinctive aesthetic of STACKED magazine. This pertains to styling, lighting, and the model’s pose. We seek models who exude a healthy and joyful demeanour. Stacked welcomes both studio and location-based sets, offering creative flexibility. The use of flash, studio lighting, or abundant natural light is acceptable.

It is very likely that we will slim down a set before publishing. That said, before submission, you should exclude any images or video that you or the model prefer not to publish.

No, we require all images as jpegs straight from the camera and all the raw video in unedited format.

TECH SPEC

For stills, a DSLR with a minimum resolution of 21 megapixels is required for both main and BTS images. We use the Canon EOS 5D Mark III and IV cameras. You can use any digital camera that matches our required specification.

For Main Video we require a minimum of Full HD: 1920 x 1080 at 120p. A base level camera for this would be a Sony a7s ii.

For BTS video we require a minimum of Full HD: 1920 x 1080 at 60p. We also require live sound for this element.

It is important to remember that this is the bass level of deliverables. If you have higher specification equipment we welcome submissions. Please just make sure the Video elements are at the correct frame rates.

Yes absolutely. You will need separate IDs and releases for each model featured.

When it comes to models, we gravitate towards a curvy “girl next door” appearance, with minimal or natural aesthetic enhancements. While a makeup artist isn’t obligatory, we do ask that your model possesses the skill to expertly apply her own makeup and perform touch-ups as needed.

For any further assistance or clarifications on these guidelines, feel free to connect with a member of our team. We’re here to lend a helping hand and can even provide sample sets for reference.

Please email sample images in an unedited web-sized JPEG format or as a PDF, containing 2-4 images per page.

Sample videos can be compressed and sent via we transfer to the following email address.

If your set captures our interest, we’ll request the high-resolution versions. Kindly forward your submissions to submissions@STACKEDmag.com with the subject line “Creative Submission” along with your name.

We would like to emphasise that there is no need for your images to be edited at this stage. Your initial submissions serve as a preliminary assessment of your work.
